Our Camp Leadership

Camp and Youth Director | Brittany Mihalik

Assistant Camp and Youth Director | Brittany Mihalik

Brittany has been working with our JCC for nearly four years and has taken on new positions of leadership quickly. She started as a camp unit head, then became the JCC's Camp Program Director, and this past summer she was our Assistant Camp Director. Brittany was instrumental in the overall running of our camp, securing our ACA accreditation and managing camp preparation. Brittany has a wonderful grasp on the power of the magic of our camp and is able to infuse all she does with our campers and staff with this understanding. For the past seven years Brittany has also been the Girls Head Basketball Coach with the City of Novato.

Camp and Youth Administrator | Karly Thomas

Karly has been working as a Customer Service Representative at the Osher Marin JCC Front Desk for the past 2 years and was selected to be our new Camp & Youth Administrator,as of December 2014. She graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development, and as our Camp & Youth Administrator, Karly will be handling the registrations and customer service needs for all youth programs.

Why We Host Schlichim

"Hosting Shlichim during the summers remains a wonderful experience for our family. Each year we meet dynamic and fascinating young Israelis with whom we maintain contact long after the summer has gone. Our kids are the greatest beneficiaries of the experience, finding in the Shlichim individuals who they come to regard as older siblings. It is an event we look forward to every year with good reason and plan on continuing for years to come."
