The J-Teen Camp Story

This leadership development camp is designed to give campers three unique experiences: community service, day or overnight trips and traditional day camp experience. One day a week, campers will participate in community service projects at local organizations. Two or three days a week will be spent out at our beautiful Halle Park campsite located in Burton, where our teen campers will have an opportunity to design their own camp program. See activities at right. They will also develop leadership skills and work on stewardship projects.

Director of Day Camping & Children’s Services | Aaron Tevlowitz

Aaron cannot wait to begin his third summer with J-Day Camps. “Watching children grow, develop new friendship and gain confidence over the summer is tremendously gratifying,” said Aaron.

Assistant Director of Day Camps | Abbey Phillips

Abbey returns to J-Day Camps for her third summer as the Director of Anisfield and Assistant Director of J-Day Camps. Abbey will tell you she considers camp to be her favorite holiday and enjoys celebrating every day and every one.

Seasonal Director of J-Teen | Scott Peterson

Scott is returning for his second summer with J-Day Camps in this role and cannot wait to get started again. During the year, you can find Scott in the classroom as a middle school teacher. Scott has two children who are professional J-Day Camp campers!
