Camp accepts special needs children on a case by case basis.

Session Lengths: 1 Week, 2 Weeks, 3 Weeks, 4 Weeks, 5 Weeks, 6 Weeks, 7 Weeks, 8 Weeks, 9 Weeks, Single Days

The JCC Rockland’s Camps Yomi & Yomi Sr Story

Traditional day camp for youth entering grades K-6 in partnership with 92nd street Y. This all round camp program offers small camper to staff ratios, Red Cross swim instruction, sports, arts, ropes course and more. All specialists are truly professionals in their field working with school age children year round. Located in Pearl River, NY right here in Rockland County on the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds. Program fees include late nights, over nights, trips, special events, early & late care. New this year towel service! We also offer Camp Discover a weekly specialty camp for youth entering grades K-2 located on-site at JCC Rockland in West Nyack. Weekly themes include Cooking, Arts, Games, Science, Magic, Theater & Photography. Daily swim and recreation time. In addition we have POST Camps offered week 9 of the summer. Camp Lego Maniacs for youth entering grades 2-8- Half day traditional and half day Lego Summer Sensation (daily and weekly option) for youth entering grades K-8- Traditional camp programming. So Diva Fashion Design Camp for youth entering grades 4-9- Fashion design & sewing and some recreation and swim time.

Why We Host Schlichim

"Hosting Shlichim during the summers remains a wonderful experience for our family. Each year we meet dynamic and fascinating young Israelis with whom we maintain contact long after the summer has gone. Our kids are the greatest beneficiaries of the experience, finding in the Shlichim individuals who they come to regard as older siblings.
