Summer 2015 Programming Opportunities

Poop Project

What if the cure for climate change, world peace and self-love was the one thing no one wanted to talk about? Filled with facts, fun, and a little bit of ick-factor, The People’s Own Organic Power (POOP) Project breaks the potty talk taboo (it’s in the Torah!) and reconnects campers to their bodies, communities, and the earth we all share. Make a splash with science projects and eco-crafts, interactive art and theater games, cooking, text study, and the main stage show, An Inconvenient Poop. Be part of a movement building responsibility, global citizenship and Jewish identity from the bottom up. This summer can come to your camp in summer 2015!

Jewish Teen Funders Network

The Jewish Teen Funders Network Camp Philanthropy Program, “Think Outside the Tzedakah Box,” brings the power and impact of hands-on philanthropy to Jewish summer camp. As a central resource for Jewish teen philanthropy, JTFN helps camps create a teen foundation where teenage campers work together as a “foundation board,” giving away real money to non-profit organizations. JTFN provides camps with staff trainings, a program guide and resources, and on-going support during the summer. Register by April 29 to bring teen philanthropy to your camp this summer!
