Creating LGBT-Inclusive and LGBT-Themed Programs
November 4, 12 PM EST
In this interactive webinar, adult and youth program professionals will bring their voices into the room by sharing their hopes and concerns about programming that is inclusive of LGBT individuals and their families. During our conversation, we will discuss the behaviors and ways of thinking that sometimes unintentionally create programs that exclude LGBT individuals, or make them feel unwelcome; we will also reflect upon our shared Jewish values that implore us to insure that our programming is inclusive to all members. Adult and youth program professionals will leave the conversation with ideas for age appropriate activities/ programs to implement in their own communities that are inclusive of LGBT individuals and that speak directly to their wants and needs.
